During the Golden Helmets awards, the traditional end-of-year ceremony for the racing sector organized by the Italian leading motorcycles magazine Motosprint, Valentino Rossi had been able to get the entire media attention by setting a new record. Immediately after having signed the new 2-years contract with AGV, known as one of the top manufacturers of motorcycle helmets, the famous Italian firm decided to award a very special prize to one of his most deserving champion of any time.

After having won a stunning 7th World Championship Title, Valentino as usual led the way and got the 4th Golden Helmet in a row. A timeless gold masterpiece of 6,5 Kilos: a pieces of jewelry with the very same shield and liners as a racing helmet that makes it a "ready-to-wear" product, completed with over 300 working hours by Pallavidini Preziosi in Valenza Pò, recognized as one of the worldwide gold capitals.

Inspired by one of the most interesting helmets of the season, Ti-Tech "Il Laureato", the Golden Helmet had been enhanced with precious stones as malachite, coral, cogolong, pearl and lapis lazuli directly set in the golden frame by using the traditional technique of ancient craftsmen: a bit of glamour within the motorcycle world! A unique piece of art created by AGV to celebrate the thrilling success of his talented Champion.
