Preventive assistance campaign - K3

Dainese is committed to the safety of our customers. Dainese is voluntarily recalling specific batches of AGV K3 (E2206) Multi MPLK and Solid MPLK motorcycle helmets, manufactured in 2022. In specific batches of AGV K3 motorcycle helmets manufactured in 2022, the red lever latch of the micrometric buckle may fail to automatically engage. The user must manually latch the buckle to securely fasten the helmet as provided and warned in the User Safety Manual.

To determine whether your AGV K3 helmet is subject to this preventive assistance campaign, please follow the instructions below.

Look at the labels on the chin strap on your helmet. Look at the label depicted in the photo that appears below. That label identifies the serial number of your helmet. The serial number appears to the right of the Circle containing the E3. The serial number will use the same format in the photo (e.g., 062032-P/J-0000238).

Look at the label depicted in the photo that appears below. That label identifies the date of manufacture of your helmet. The date of manufacture appears at the lower right of the label.

What is the problem with the recalled helmets?

How long will it take to get my helmet back?
It will take between two and three weeks for your helmet to be repaired and returned to you.
I no longer have the receipt for the helmet. Can I still return my helmet for the recall repair?
Yes, of course, you may return your recalled helmet.
I no longer have the helmet. What should I do?
If you sold or gave your AGV K3 helmet to someone else, please give us their name, email address, street address and telephone number through our online form.
